4 CoursesThis online certificate builds on Learn by YouthREX’s Program Evaluation for Youth Wellbeing Certificate to provide the Ontario youth sector with an understanding of how to use spreadsheets like Microsoft Excel to collect and analyze program data.

01: Understand
The lectures in Module One provide an overview about different types of data that youth programs already collect and how these can contribute to a program evaluation as well as the role that spreadsheet software can play in program evaluation.

The lectures in Module Two provide learners with an overview of how to collect and organize quantitative data for a program evaluation including turning forms into spreadsheet files that can be used to record, track and analyze data inventory.

03: Analyze
The lectures in Module Three introduce learners to the concept of frequency distributions, measures of central tendency, and measures of dispersion, and how to calculate and analyze these statistics using a spreadsheet software program.

The lectures in Module Four introduce learners on how to create data visualization using spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Excel and the importance of creating a story-telling narrative to put such visualizations into action.
